Maintenance Supervisor for Foster Farms

What you would be doing: 

  • Direct and supervise shifts maintenance for Porterville Processing Plant
  • Monitor and maintain correct required maintenance records and use those records to conduct analysis and generate reports.
  • Responsible for continuous training programs as directed by the Maintenance Manager, especially for the newly assigned personnel and to increase the effectiveness of experienced personnel:
  • Conduct an aggressive continual and on-going safety program to include; Inspection, Instruction, Correction, Prevention, Documentation
  • Provide the Maintenance Manager with a written list of material and replacement parts needed:
  • Provide supervision on a relief basis for swing shift sanitation employees.

Qualifications: 

  • A. /B.S. degree preferred.  AA/B.S. degree or technical school graduate or a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the food processing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills, work well under pressure.
  • Ability to interface successfully on a daily basis with all production groups.
  • Able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively.
  • Balanced technical/mechanical/ human resource knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of poultry and processing equipment.

Service Technician for Bane-Welker Equipment

What you would be doing: 

  • Performs repair and maintenance work on equipment, in accordance with time schedules as assigned by service manager.
  • Maintains tools and equipment, and notify the service manager if tools need replacement, or new tools are needed.
  • Notifies the service manager, dispatcher, and/or service salesman if delays are expected, or if a part needs to be ordered. 
  • Maintains vigilance for methods of effecting cost reductions or revenue increases and reports observations to the service manager.
  • Transports and delivers or picks-up equipment, machines or parts as needed.  Performs equipment checks both before and after transport to avoid transport damage claims, and gives customer instructions for basic operation.
  • Performs set up or pre-delivery inspections on new or used equipment as prescribed by manufacturer’s manual.

Qualifications: 

  • 2-year degree plus 3 years of experience OR equivalent years of experience.
  • Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Mechanical ability and familiarization with testing equipment and diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills required
  • Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Group Policies
  • Microsoft SaaS solutions including: Office 365, Azure, Intune, Dynamics
  • Network concepts including: Routing, VLANs, VPN, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls
  • VMware, Enterprise storage and compute platforms, disaster recovery strategies
  • PowerShell and Azure CLI knowledge and basic scripting ability
  • Advanced analytical skills, troubleshooting and design skills
  • Able to work effectively in a rapidly changing technology environment
  • Team player, excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, documentation skills

  • Oversee the ongoing training of the sales team, requiring sales team to achieve and maintain their CCA, Certified Crop Advisor license.
  • Work in conjunction with the Agronomy Department Manager to source best programs from suppliers, provide input into budgets.
  • Ongoing communication with Management & Sales staff to monitor competitive products and marketing activities.
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities as well as communication of sales programs, incentives and purchase options.
  • Establish and attain sales goals of CHS Branded products of Crop Protection, Allegiant, Agellum Farm Plans

Qualifications: 

  • Degree with 3+ years of experience in Agronomy Sales to including Chemical Sales, Crop Nutrient Sales, and/or Seed Sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related program preferred
  • Certified Crop Advisor license preferred
