Electrical Project Engineer for Bridgestone Americas, Inc.

What you would be doing: 

  • Establishes a plan to meet customer requirements for a new or changed product, process, system or technology, to be reviewed by management.
  • Uses latest tools to perform value-added modeling and engineering analysis, draw conclusions from the data and execute forward actions.
  • Develops and coordinates designs for new or revised products, processes, systems and technologies. Conducts design and management reviews, including preparing or directing the preparation of information needed for the review.
  • Leads (or serves as a key contributor) to projects to deliver new or revised products, processes, systems or technologies in their area(s) of expertise. Contributes to business cases, develops feasibility analyses and project plans for proposed projects. 
  • Creates/revises specifications/standards based on data and/or process changes. 
  • Coaches and mentors more junior engineers, including providing guidance and support in problem resolution

Qualifications: 

  • BS & 5 years electrical engineering experience OR
  • 10 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role.

Production Supervisor for One Floral Group

What you would be doing: 

  • Review crop schedules and provide input on mapping and planning process
  • Maintain daily communication with Sr. Grower in order to coordinate the areas of the warehouse and distribution
  • Develop, implement and execute appropriate standards; policies and procedures to manage workflow to resources and increase productivity, while enforcing greenhouse procedures
  • Ensure quality checks on product coming into and going out of the greenhouse meet requirements as outlined on product spec sheet
  • Openly and honestly communicate with all employees to build trust and effective teamwork as well as encourage employee involvement to achieve shared organizational objectives
  • Recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and property loss.

Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with employees in other departments
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, showing initiative, good judgement and superior decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt in a quick and positive manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and requests

Service Writer for Everglades Farm Equipment

A little about the business: Everglades Farm Equipment is a family-owned business that started in 1963 serving the agricultural industry around Lake Okeechobee and have grown to 12 locations, covering South and Central Florida. We serve a wide range of customers from some of the largest agricultural producers of sugar, citrus and vegetables to individual farmers, nurseries, and commercial landscape management companies as well as large and small property owners. 

What you would be doing: 

  • Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced
  • Maintains the service library with current information (for example, files bulletins, manuals, multi-media, etc.) under the direct supervision of the Service Manager
  • Maintains Service Department filing and records
  • Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
  • Assist in answering service phone calls
  • Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders

Qualifications: 

  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • Mechanically inclined
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Grain Elevator Location Manager for Tempel Grain Elevators, LLP

A little about the business: Tempel Grain Elevators, LLP is a family-owned grain operation with three locations in Eastern Colorado.

What you would be doing:

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to Tempel Grain’s Safety Policy.
  • Utilize good customer service skills at all times, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company as well as contractors, freight companies and other grain companies.
  • Listen to and resolve the more complicated/complex customer complaints and concerns and assist employees in resolving customer complaints or requests.
  • Supervision of all Bethune/Vona area operations and personnel.
  • Schedule day-to-day workloads and assign various job responsibilities or ensure scheduling takes place and production levels and deadlines are being met.
  • Meet with other supervisors, merchandiser and team leaders to determine various staffing needs, equipment and facility needs. Monitor overall efficiency of area operations and people.

Qualifications: 

  • The ability to lead a team ideally with prior experience in agriculture
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to work extended hours during peak season
  • Strong ability to prioritize and problem-solve

Maintenance Lead for Foster Farms

  • Work with the maintenance planner and supervision to plan repairs and PM’s.
  • Ensure facilities/plant/production equipment is operating in a safe and optimal manner.
  • Maintain professional communication with all maintenance personnel, MRO personnel, production personnel, sanitation personnel, leads and supervisors.
  • Order repair parts as needed, ensure correct parts are ordered, installed correctly and in a timely matter.
  • Oversee all repairs made on his or her shift, must sign all WO’s/PM’s performed during his or her shift, ensuring work is complete, correct and safe.
  • Obtain mechanic requested parts from the MRO warehouse ensuring all parts removed are signed out using SAP.

Qualifications: 

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Must have advanced knowledge of three phase motors, motor control, wrapping and food processing equipment.
  • Must be familiar with pumps, understanding of gear ratios/speeds, and operation of hand and power tools.
  • Be able to use welding/cutting equipment and be proficient in all aspects of plant maintenance.
  • Be able to read electrical and mechanical schematics and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Must have a good understanding of safe work practices, PPE, and knowledge of OSHA standards.
