What you would be doing: 

  • Manage all aspects crop production on 9000+ crop acres with direction from ownership and crop consultants from seed selection to harvest
  • Manage all agronomy programs including fertilizer and chemical application
  • Keep track of CAFO required paperwork and regulations
  • Manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
  • Help to problem solve operational challenges while maintaining open two-way communication with other managers and owners
  • Coordinate activities, prioritize tasks and ensure the operation runs efficiently for your team


  • 2+ years of work experience in crop production/farming and leadership required
  • Basic computer skills and a passion for new technology
  • Enthusiasm for and a knowledge of crop production agronomics and equipment
  • Must be able to operate a variety of farm and field equipment

Parts Counter Sales Person for Everglades Farm Equipment

A little about the business: Everglades Farm Equipment a family-owned business that started in 1963 serving the agricultural industry around Lake Okeechobee and have grown to 12 locations covering South and Central Florida. We serve a wide range of customers from some of the largest agricultural producers of sugar, citrus and vegetables to individual farmers, nurseries, and commercial landscape management companies as well as large and small property owners. 

What you would be doing: 

  • Look up and ordering of Parts for John Deere equipment using JDPOINT ordering system & PMPRO catalog system.
  • Look up and ordering of Parts for Other Vendors using their website catalogs.
  • Sells & orders parts required to fill customer needs using PFW business system.
  • Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.


  • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills.
  • Basic machinery knowledge.
  • Parts Educate – Required to have 20 credits per year of John Deere training as well as training requested by their Parts Manager.
  • Ability to use the JD Pathways /John Deere Parts Catalog computer application and Vendor Websites for parts look up and ordering.
  • Ability to learn PFW business system for invoicing, receipting and ordering parts for customers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift license required.

Pivot Irrigation Sales and Service Technician for Circle L Irrigation

What you would be doing: 

  • Selling new and existing customers valley irrigation center pivots and service.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and conduct mechanical and electrical repair on center pivot and corner arm irrigation systems using test equipment and tools to determine root cause.  Our equipment consists of gear boxes, wiring, electric motors, pumps, VFDs, electrical controls and control panels.
  • Adapt to new and evolving technology. Specifically, GPS guidance and positioning, telemetry control, and communications.
  • Work directly with farm growers in order to communicate repairs made, share available products and services to meet their needs and provide instruction on operating irrigation equipment and technology.
  • Work with installation crews on setup of new systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams and operations manuals.


  • Prior center pivot knowledge and/or experience.
  • The ability to work year-round with peak hours during Spring/Summer (50-60 hours per week), work outdoors, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to obtain and maintain a class A CDL and pass a drug test.
  • A desire to work on equipment and are known for being a hard worker, self-motivated, honest, great communicator, and problem solver.

Farm Operator & Mechanic for Oomen Farms

A little about the business: Welcome to Oomen Farms in Hart, Michigan! We’re a family-owned, diversified farming operation. On our fourth generation, we pride ourselves on growing quality organic and conventionally grown vegetables and row crops. We are continually expanding our operation and looking for someone who shares our passion for the industry and focus on continuous improvement.

What you would be doing:

  • Operating farm equipment such as tillage, sprayers, harvesters and other farm equipment.
  • Hauling seed, fertilizer, fuel to and from main location to fields.
  • Assisting with light equipment maintenance in the shop and in field. 
  • Assisting with irrigation including applying fertilizer through pivots, putting in and taking out pumps each season and helping with basic repairs.
  • Performing general farm labor such as building upkeep, grounds maintenance, etc.


  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment on a farm or in relatable fields such as military or construction
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to assist with repairs
  • Flexibility in working in all areas of the farm along with a solid ability to communicate clearly
  • The ability to solve problems in-the-moment and are a self-starter
  • CDL A license or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire
  • Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance of equipment and repairs
  • Physically be able to lift 50-75lbs, work outside in the elements and be on your feet on/off throughout the day.

Dairy Farm Manager with Ownership Potential for Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship

A little about the business: Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship (DGA) is a National Apprenticeship under the U.S. Department of Labor-Employment and Training Administration.

What you would be doing: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the dairy operations and pasture
  • Engage daily with owner/ operator or manager on prioritization of tasks and any herd health concerns
  • Manage pastures and soils for ideal health and cattle performance according to organic standards
  • Maintain herd health and productivity including giving vaccinations and managing sick cows
  • Perform heat detection and AI
  • Perform general daily farm work including feeding, scraping, cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Prepare farm for state and federal inspections


  • You have prior livestock and herd health management experience preferably in dairy or cattle
  • You have an ownership mentality when it comes to working and are particular when managing the details
  • You have basic maintenance and repair experience with ability to learn
  • You are comfortable with working extended hours on the dairy
