Their produce is packed under their SUNSET brand and can be found in leading grocers throughout North America. They are looking for a Transfer Coordinator to join their team in Livonia, Michigan.
What you would be doing: As the Transfer Coordinator, you would plan and organize the day to day transferring of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and/or other produce. Some of your responsibilities would include communicating with CIC on product needed for transfers, insuring product transferred according to arrival time, assisting receiving in accurately and timely, monitoring status of incoming orders, and following commodity management allocations.
Qualifications: High school diploma, must pass internal Hilo certification, ability to properly manage time, equipment, and people, proficient in computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
A little about the business: The Wonderful Company is a privately held $4 billion company committed to offering high-quality, healthy brands. They grow, harvest, bottle, package, and market a diverse range of healthy products, including fruits, nuts, flowers, water, wines, and juices. They are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, California.
What you would be doing: As the Trade Marketing Manager, you would lead the sales organization’s effort managing their Trade Promotion Management system and Sales Planning. Some of your responsibilities would include representing The Wonderful Company sales perspective in cross functional meetings, producing high quality management reports on the status and issues related to trade pending, supporting end users, and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications: BA/BS in marketing, economics, or accounting preferred, 5 years’ experience in sales or system administration role preferred, and 2 years’ experience of related trade marketing experience.
A little about the farm: Ruff Farms is a growing farm operation farming 4,000 acres of corn, soybeans, and wheat. They also have their own drainage and seeding business. They are looking for a Farm Equipment Operator to join their team in Circleville, Ohio.
What you would be doing: As the Farm Equipment Operator, you would perform a wide variety of tasks from operating farm equipment to driving trucks. Some of your responsibilities would include driving heavy equipment, tractors, and combines, assisting with plant, harvest, and spray operations, hauling grain locally, and daily maintenance and light repair of farm equipment.
Qualifications: 1+ year as a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, or technician preferred, farming, construction, and/or agricultural background preferred, good mechanical ability, and must have a valid driver’s license. They are willing to train the right individual.
A little about the business: Central Valley Ag is a member-owned farmers cooperative located in central and northeastern Nebraska. They have 365 employees across their trade area that provide agronomy, grain, and feed services to over 10,000 farmers and ranchers. They are looking for a ProEdge Grain Originator to join their team in Oakland, Nebraska.
What you would be doing: As the ProEdge Grain Originator, you would be responsible for originating grain for Central Valley Ag’s overall position in a profitable manner through direct producer contact. Some of your responsibilities would include establishing/developing a customer base with strategic customers and prospects, conducting on farm sales calls, educating producers on benefits of utilizing ProEdge risk management tools, and following the cooperative’s gain marketing policy.
Qualifications: Agriculture background and sales and marketing experience preferred.
A little about the business: Farm Bureau Financial Services has been around since 1939 and was developed to fit the unique insurance needs of farmers. They have grown into a multiline organization who works with their clients to make life simpler and more secure. They are looking for an Insurance and Financial Solutions Coach to join their team in Manchester, Iowa.
What you would be doing: As an Insurance and Financial Solutions Coach, you would work closely with each client throughout a lifetime to serve the client’s evolving needs and goals and be out in the community working with your clients and meeting new people. You would be expected to meet new business production goals and to generate new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
Qualifications: Willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, must obtain a Property & Casualty license and a Life and Health license, be customer service focused, and previous sales experience is preferred.
